LGW Industries Ltd
This company was established on 14th January 1998 with an authorized share
capital of Indian Rs. 3 cores. Mr. Abhay Kumar Gupta, Mr. Pankaj Kumar Gupta
and Mrs. Seema Gupta are the present Directors of this company. The company
was formed mainly for setting up a composite textile manufacturing unit and
to establish a brand name in textile products by LGW, both in domestic and
as well as in the international market, without disturbing the existing
infrastructure for merchant export trading of LGW Ltd.
With the withdrawal of quota system in international textile and garments
business from 2005, as per WTO, Geneva Agreement of Textile and Clothing's,
there will be lot more opportunities coming up for the Indian textile and
garments exporters and manufacturers. In order to be in preparedness for
taking up the new opportunities and challenges, at the initial stage, the
company will start functioning as a merchant exporter of textile yarns and
raw cotton and as a seller & consignment sales agent of various reputed
Indian textile mills for selling of yarns in the local market in Eastern
India. Gradually the company will diversify its activity and plan to start
export of Textile Spinning machinery both new and used. The company has
already been registered with the various statutory bodies as under:-

» The Cotton Textile Export Promotion Council
» Oriental Chamber of Commerce
The company commenced its business in textile yarns and raw cotton with
effect from April 2003 and in the first & second years of its operation
it has made significant export performance. The Company through its
dedicated marketing efforts as already popularized several brands of cotton
and blblendedanded yarn, manufactured by reputed Indian Textile Mills, in
Overseas Market. It has already achieved the distinction of being recognised
as an accredited "ONE STAR EXPORT HOUSE" BY THE GOVERMENT OF INDIA
